How I came to write my first novel.

Since I was little I have always wanted to be an author. I would write stories all of the time at school and at home and I have always had a vivid imagination. It was last June (2010) when I decided to go ahead and begin planning for my novel. It started out as a small idea where a psychic medium would give a DNA sample to the police to prove his innocence in a murder case and he would eventually work alongside the police to help solve the case. 
That was the extent of my idea for a long time as writers block took residence in my brain for about six months.  And then, I don't know how but I managed to roll the full story out and I am now about to finish the novel. I have totally amazed myself and I hope that it captures you if you ever get the chance to read it.
